Afterword
In the week following our golden jubilee celebrations the following articles appeared in the local press (Nelson Leader/Colne Times and Pendle Citizen respectively). It is interesting to compare the photograph below with the one published 50 years earlier with Arthur Mulligan at the radiogram! None of the members in the recent picture appear on the earlier one, but Joyce Knapton (far right) and Eric Dawes (third from right) are on the Christmas party picture taken at the Borough Café in 1955.
